Kitting application comes in to view during the secondary level of production when accessories or raw goods that come from different locations have to be kitted into a finished product.
WaveLogix’s kitting application helps to track the inventory records.
Kitting can also be done as per pre-scheduled data.
The application tracks all the information with respect to the finished good.
For example the information like kitting location, serial number of both core and accessories, shipping order, delivery order, warranty if any, performance of the users, Stock count, Pallet wise ordering of products etc.
An important feature of our Kitting application is its integration with RFID readers.
This application acts as a gateway module which is a confirmation before delivery.
The gateway module deals only with data supplied after kitting.
RFID reader fixed at the gateway captures all the RFID tag embedded in the finished good and validates it against the database information.
It will take care whether all the items are properly shipped out, validates the item count in the pallet and checks if there is a shuffle etc.
